Duke Law graduates are in high demand because they are known as leaders, clear thinkers, and excellent writers who are ready to serve as effective advocates from day one. Several hundred employers from around the country come to Duke each year to recruit our students, and our Career and Professional Development Center provides a vast array of resources and programs designed to help you find the best job for you, no matter what location or field you choose.

Almost every graduate in the class of 2006 (98.18%) was employed nine months after graduation;

More than 7,000 interviews were conducted with 210 second-year students;

The number of interviews and offers made far exceeded the number of students interviewing;

Median starting salary for 2006 graduates was $135,000 - rising to $155,000 plus bonus at some firms;

Duke Law graduates rank fifth "most hired" in a National Law Journal survey sent to 250 of the largest law firms in the country.
