2008 International Conference & Alumni Reunion

International Conference

We are thrilled to be hosting Duke Law School's Fourth International Conference & Alumni Reunion in Munich, Germany, June 19-22, 2008. This exciting event highlights and celebrates the increasingly global nature of the Duke Law community and the legal profession; it also is a wonderful opportunity for Duke Law alumni living abroad -- nearly 10 percent of our graduates live outside the United States -- to meet, reconnect, or network with the school and Duke graduates from the United States.

Our past international conferences and reunions have been among the school's most successful, fun, and engaging events, and we believe this year's program will be the best one yet. Attendees will enjoy an outstanding series of panel discussions on timely topics led by our own Duke faculty members Jim Cox, Jerome Reichman, and Jim Coleman. Associate Dean Judy Horowitz and Assistant Dean Jennifer Maher will be there to greet you and Dean David Levi will moderate a panel on the challenges of globalization and higher education featuring Duke University President Richard Brodhead. We also have planned a number of social events and opportunities to enjoy Munich's history and culture. See the agenda for our complete schedule.

Whether this trip serves as an opportunity to network with colleagues from around the world, reconnect with a favorite professor, participate in stimulating and spirited discussions, or simply an excuse to vacation in Germany, we are sure the International Conference & Reunion will be a highlight of the Duke Law summer.

Wir sehen uns in München!
