Course selection advice from Professor Sara Beale
“Consider taking not only courses that are directly relevant to the type of legal work you expect to do, but also courses that will give you a broader perspective on the law. This can not only enrich you as a person, but also ultimately make you a better lawyer. … Another way of stretching your horizons is to study law comparatively. … And, even if you never intend to practice criminal law, consider studying criminal procedure or the death penalty to learn about important issues facing our legal system and our society.” » more from Professor Beale
