Office of Student Affairs
-Provides advice and guidance on all academic concerns and all extracurricular activities at Duke Law
-Directs students to university resources such as counseling and psychological services
The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is the first stop for all students, the place to go when you need answers, help, suggestions, and support. Have a question about your schedule or need advice about your post-graduate life? Want to propose a new student organization or talk to someone about a roommate problem? Come on by. Our open-door policy means that we're always here to listen and point you in the right direction, whether your concerns are academic, personal, or extracurricular. We also act as advisors to the 40+ student organizations on campus.
Leadership is a central aspect of life at Duke Law. The OSA is guided by the Duke Blueprint to LEAD, or Lawyer Education and Development, a powerful set of principles for leadership growth. Its ideas and spirit are present in all that we do, from classrooms and clinics, to our intensive new student orientation: LEAD week, to activities like Honor Week, International Week, leadership retreats, and Community Roundtable meetings.
